Discover the Magic of SKYLIGHT: Your Dream Denver Wedding Venue

Searching for a Denver wedding venue that offers you the freedom to design your wedding day exactly how you envision it? SKYLIGHT, a wedding venue gem in the heart of Denver’s Art District, might be the perfect space for you.

Before we dive in, here are my pros and cons for this wedding venue:

Pros:

  • Indoor and outdoor ceremony and reception options

  • Dressing room

  • 24 rental period: no curfew for inside events (they will have to stop the service and consumption of alcohol at locally mandated time)

  • Parking lot for venue 1.5 blocks away (guests can park overnight!)

Cons:

  • Outdoor space is not covered

  • Must use their in-house beverage provider

    • Bar service starting price includes just wine & beer

  • Because the venue is a blank slate, be prepared to account for rental items such as garbage cans, coat racks, etc.

Insights from CNP

As an LGBTQIA+ owned business, I love SKYLIGHT’s commitment to inclusivity and its openness. The venue's exposed brick walls and versatile space provide the perfect backdrop for capturing all your wedding day details. My final tips? Be prepared to create your own custom layout of the space and pay attention to the required vendor insurance policies.

Catherine Norwood

I am Catherine Norwood, a designer and photographer from Lawrence, Kansas. My job experience ranges from childcare to leading a media team at a summer camp. I also am an experienced freelance photographer, capturing senior and family portraits, headshots, and portfolio pieces for a beauty stylist. Through my previous work experience I have photographed and worked with a diverse group of people. Through each piece I design and in each moment I photograph, I not only aim to create something visually intriguing and intellectually stimulating, but something that will better society. By working with both photography and design I keep my perspective fresh and I constantly find new ways they can enhance and work with one another. As a designer and photographer, I don't only look to reach past the lens and screen to create positive relationships with the subject, but to also capture various cultures and areas so I can help others become socially aware of their surroundings.
